Authenticity Therapy© is a cutting edge four-step framework and protocol for lowering reactivity to stress and for compassionate self-parenting. It reaches to the core of any presenting issue: the emotional truths behind the content, and offers the tools for responsive – i.e. non-reactive – functioning. As an innovative, body-centered framework to treatment it shortens the duration of psychotherapy by streamlining it into the factors that define mental and emotional health. The four steps involved form an intertwining, self-reinforcing upward cycle of ever-improving functioning, thus ensuring progress from session to session. Authenticity Therapy© is a new synthesis and integration of Eastern and Western approaches to mental health, and of the most effective treatments to date. As a framework, it can be used in combination with any treatment modality.

Authenticity Therapy© fosters an internal locus of control, self-agency, and responsiveness (as opposed to reactivity) to stress. Because relationships are defined, by extension, by the self-parenting style we use AT is highly applicable to the treatment of couples and families.

This training will help you to:

  • streamline your work
  • ensure progress from session to session
  • shorten the duration of treatment by significantly boosting its effectiveness
  • solidify your trauma resolution skills with BSOTR
  • learn the skills and special considerations required to effectively teach Authenticity Therapy© and BSOTR to other clinicians.

This training is for those clinicians who want to

  • expand and deepen their understanding of the complexities of Authenticity Therapy©
  • be able to offer trainings in Authenticity Therapy© to other clinicians
  • add a new stream of revenue to their current offerings.

Visa Stuff:

Generally not required for stays of up to 90 days (or at all for EU nationals); some nationalities need a Schengen visa. Check with your local embassy or consulate for information specific to your country.

Payment Schedule:

Your non-refundable deposit will be deducted from your balance.

  • First installment (half of your fee) is due by February 28th, 2026.
  • Second installment (remainder minus your $400 deposit) is due on or before April 30th, 2026.

Cancellation & Additional Terms:

Please note that because this Retreat is limited to a small number of attendees to ensure a more personal and intimate experience, our cancellation policy helps both guests and organizers work together sharing any expenses that may result from unexpected cancellations.

Hold deposits are non-refundable.

  1. Hold deposits (minus $100 USD re-listing fee) are transferable to another attendee found and assigned by original attendee.
  2. Full balance due 8 weeks before the start date of retreat unless otherwise noted.
  3. Cancellation requests submitted within 30 days of retreat date, 50% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded.
  4. Within 14 days of your retreat: sorry but no refunds given, no exceptions.
  5. Any refunds allowed will incur a 3% processing fee.

No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur. You are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance for any emergencies.

Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early.

We reserve the right to cancel retreats with inadequate participant interest, or in case of an emergency, in which case all money paid to Yudit Maros/Center for Authentic Living, LLC will be refunded. Notification of cancellation for this reason will occur at least 1 month prior to retreat start date. Yudit Maros/Center for Authentic Living, LLC cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations.

Electricity and Outlets:

France uses Type E power plugs and sockets.
Type C plugs also work in Type E sockets, and many Type F plugs can fit as well because they are often the E/F hybrid style.

  3. Completed 15 hours of Authenticity Therapy© group supervision with active participation.

Level 2 Authenticity Therapy©/BSOTR Certification Supervision Requirements:

  •  24 hours of training with active participation
  • 15 hours of supervision post training with active participation
  • Own genogram and plan to work through ABCD
  • Case discussions with AT and BSOTR

CEUs

This training retreat offers 24 CEU’s through NASW-CT for LMFT, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, and Licensed Psychologist. If you are practicing outside of Connecticut please inquire at your State Board to verify that they accept CEU’s through NASW-CT.
